It's funny how a Web site can get away from you. I've been planning a major overhaul of this one for over a year, but one thing or another has ended up taking precedence. I haven't even been able to maintain any sort of schedule for updates. It's been frustrating and disappointing, but that can be the reality of a venture where no one gets paid!
On a happier note, I took a trip back to Spokane this past summer—my first time back since 1974! With compass, fair map and aerial photos in hand, I tried to re-create my visit to the fair. I took a bunch of photos and notes, scoured the town for memorabilia and even paid a visit to fair president, King Cole. You'll see the results of that trip in the coming months. Also on deck is a re-design of the Images section, with many new photos. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the changes.
